Gravy was born February 13th, 2021 in Kingsport, Tennessee. The last pick in his litter, Gravy was brought home on April 10 at just eight weeks old.

As a puppy, Gravy loved playing with his friends. He played sneak attack, tug-of-war, then snuggle bunny (in that order). In exchange for baby carrots, Gravy learned many commands like sit, lay down, and roll over. These commands were generalized, meaning Gravy would listen to friends and family just like his owner. This training and socialization as a puppy set Gravy up to be the perfect therapy dog.

Gravy was certified through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs in September 2025. He regularly provides emotional support at schools, hospitals, and nursing facilities in his community. In January 2026, Gravy was awarded Therapy Dog of the Month by Ballad Health Systems.

Now 5 years old, Gravy is still loves to play tug, still loves eating carrots, and has made hundreds of new friends. He lives in Johnson City, Tennessee with his owner, Adam.
